Sticky Previews

If you need to keep an eye on multiple things, on different windows, you can use Sticky Previews to make your life easier. It gives you the possibility of creating live previews of windows or other regions on the screen. Instead of having an entire window on your screen, just to look at one small detail, you can have that detail and nothing else.

Sticky Previews is free to try for 30 days, without any functionality restrictions. It works on Windows Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it can be installed quickly and effortlessly. The application doesn't require a significant amount of RAM or disk space and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools to run it.

All you have to do is run the application or double click its system tray icon and draw a rectangle around the area you wish to preview. The live preview will appear instantly, after you draw the rectangle. Previews can be created for anything. You may create several previews for different areas of a flowchart, create a preview for statistics that keep updating and have all of them on the screen at the same time.

You can even create live previews of videos. Just draw a rectangle over a playing video on your web browser and you will have that video on its own window, which you can move anywhere on your screen. Furthermore, it is possible to resize previews, if you need to see more than what you have originally selected. Zooming in and out is another possibility, so you can use the application as a magnifying glass as well.
